As a mum of three young children, I understand that pregnancy can be both an exciting and nerve-wracking time.
It's a journey that's often filled with joy, anticipation, and hope, but it can also be fraught with anxiety and uncertainty.
That's why I'm here to talk to you today about the power of affirmations during this special time. Affirmations can be a powerful tool for anyone looking to boost their confidence, reduce stress, and promote a healthy mindset during the trying to conceive process and pregnancy journey. In this blog, I'll be sharing with you some of my favorite affirmations for pregnancy and fertility, and explaining why they're so beneficial.
Ways to use affirmations:
- Write down your affirmations every day in a journal
You can start your day by writing down affirmations that resonate with you or that you want to focus on. This will help you set a positive tone for the day and keep you feeling uplifted throughout the day. You can also read through your affirmations before going to bed to help you end the day on a positive note. If you aren’t familiar with Head and Heart Books, I have a range of journals and notebooks to help you get started.
- Print off affirmation cards and display somewhere that is visible during the day
This could be on your desk at work, your bathroom mirror, or your fridge door. Seeing the affirmations regularly throughout the day will help you stay focused and motivated towards your goals. You can print off my free affirmation cards or pregnancy and labour affirmation cards.
- You can print off a list and keep in your handbag

- You can handwrite on post-it notes and leave them around your

They have a way of shifting your mindset, and when you believe that you are capable of achieving your goals, your body can follow suit. Affirmations can help you stay positive, focused, and motivated. They can also help you cope with the challenges that come with motherhood and remind you of your worth and strength. So, keep affirming yourself, mama, and know that you are capable of anything you set your mind to.
